This is a top line up of teachers and we are very fortunate to have them all coming to the workshop. As always in the even that a teacher cannot make the course (illness, transport problem etc) DrummingMad will provide an equally skilled teacher in their place should such an unlikely situation occur. |
The aim of the course is to provide all participants with a better understanding of pipe band ensemble playing. You will have the opportunity to learn new ways in technique to help with your musical flow. Improved individual technique will also help with better corps integration and accurate playing with the band. |
At the end of the course you will: · Have developed your intra corps playing · Have learnt a special set of rudiment phrases that help with better execution · Have a better understanding of what ensemble playing is all about Have learnt tips for instrument tuning and maintenance |
