You will have the opportunity to learn new ways in technique to help with your musical flow. This workshop theme is ‘Simple Time Marches’ including the 2/4, 3/4, 4,4 and 5/4 Marches. The idea of a workshop theme is to focus on a particular rhythm to gain a more full understanding on a specific area of drumming expression. However we will be working on other time signatures too. |

At the end of the course you will: - · Have developed your drum corps playing · Be able to play a March · Have learnt a special set of rudiment phrases that help in execution for March playing · Have worked on and developed March playing through new March phrases · Have a better understanding of drum score writing · Have a better understanding of ensemble playing |
