Introducing The Paradiddle |
|
The paradiddle has 4 taps played with the syllables of the word Pa ra di dle. For example, a Right hand paradiddle has its 1st tap a Right Tap, its 2nd tap a Left Tap, its 3rd Tap a Right tap and its 4th is another Right Tap - so it goes RIGHT TAP, LEFT TAP, RIGHT TAP, RIGHT TAP Here are both right and left Paradiddles in musical notation form: |

| Now play the Paradiddle building lines at 60 bpm (beats per minute) keeping your taps all even in sound with a steady flow. | ||

| Again when you get to the end of the last line (line 5) return back to the start of line 1. Continue this until you are happy with the sound that it is nice and even. |
